Contracting policy

AusAID contracts out the implementation of aid activities in accordance with the Commonwealth Government's purchasing policies and guidelines. These guidelines ensure that the processes of contractor selection result in value for money.

The following publications provide an overview of AusAID's contracting policies:

• Adviser Remuneration Framework
  The Adviser Remuneration Framework is a set of market-based, long and short term remuneration rates applying to AusAID-funded advisers that are commercially contracted by AusAID directly, or through a managing contractor.
