22 June: Prime Minister Julia Gillard today announced that Australia will provide more funding to help millions of people in developing countries access clean water and sanitation.

The early childhood development centre in Kungyangon identifies children at risk of missing out on early childhood development and covers their fees and costs. It also runs education sessions to help parents understand the importance of early stimulation, health and hygiene for toddlers.
